With a newly unveiled vehicle platform Stellantis has addressed the need for a versatile basis for full-size pickup trucks as well as light commercial vehicles. Neither compromising on range nor emission reduction, the STLA Frame provides range-extended, hybrid as well as fully electric vehicles.

Enabling the use of battery packs of over 200 kWh, electric drive modules rated up to 250 kW and featuring bidirectional charging, it is a capable EV-platform, that also provides hybrid options when they are required. The range extended configuration will provide a range of up to 1100 km, which is almost 40% farther than the BEV version, and a hybrid version might even improve on that.

Stellantis is making a great step towards a fully electrified future with this platform by not risking a no-compromise BEV-only strategy and using the potential of hybrid technology, to steadily build on a vehicle base, that caters for the needs of its users.
