The Norwegian Startup and founding member of the Hybrid Alliance Brudeli Green Mobility AS presented, following the ACTExpo in US earlier this year, 1st time their ground breaking Brudeli Powerhybrid technology at the IAA Transportation in Hannover.

With an electric drive of 35-80%, a power of up to 270kw and battery size of 200kwh, the system provides unique cost saving and emission reduction opportunities for class 7 and class 8 trucks.

The 1st trucks are planned to be in pilot operation with 1st fleet customers in 2026. From 2028 and onwards the system is planned to ba commercially available. The Brudeli Powerhybrid technology is compliant to Vecto in US and upcoming US EPA3 and NZEV standards.

The following key points highlighted for the Brudeli Powerhybrid:

  1. Combining electric- and combustion engine.
  2. Parallel and serial hybrid modes.
  3. Perfect match with green fuels.
  4. Energy efficiency – brake energy feeds back into the plug-in battery system.
  5. Half the battery size of a full electric system, all the power.
  6. Ability to drive pure electric in zero emission zones.
  7. Completing all routes – independent of charging infrastructure.
  8. Integration on any truck platform.
  9. Making fleets meet regulatory targets.
